Here’s a select few classes to use for a great time in WoW Classic.
Before we take a look at what the most fun classes to play are in World of Warcraft Classic, we should add a disclaimer of sorts. It’s important to note that enjoying a class is very subjective, and what you find fun is going to differ from others. WoW Classic is a unique experience in which each class offers different specs that can change the way that you play the game.
So if you are the kind of player that enjoys the grind, or one that looks to collect as much WoW Classic gold as possible, or even engage in PvP, there’s something for everyone. If you want to fill up your WoW Classic bags with items you’ve been looking for, then that’s a legitimate approach to take as well. That said, here we will be taking a look at some of the most enjoyable classes that you can play as during your time in Classic WoW.
This is a great class to play as if you’re looking to start leveling up quickly. They are a popular class amongst the Classic WoW playerbase, for traits such as being able to use summoning for getting around easier. To an extent, it’s also quite independent in the sense that you can solo a lot of quests, though you are relying on your demon pet to work as a tank.
If you are looking for the best race for the Warlock, then check out the Forsaken. There are a few other valid choices, but the special abilities that you can use here will keep your mana going throughout your journey.
We mentioned PvP earlier, so naturally, it makes sense to mention the Rouge class here. They are a cut above when it comes to player vs player combat, and they’re very effective for dungeons, pickpocketing enemies and much more with their stealth. That said, they aren’t as easy to level up as some of the other classes on this list, since they are limited to melee attacks and lack the armour or ways of healing that others do. That said, if you like a stealthy approach, then this can be a lot of fun for you to have.
The Shadow Priest is very similar to the Warlock, albeit with far more shadow damage which is to be expected given the name. If high damage output is your thing, then you are in the right place with the Shadow Priest. This is also effective for PvP as well, so if you dabble in such gameplay then you can take advantage there too. The abilities that you unlock through questing are a lot of fun to play around with, and you are essentially a guaranteed burden on any enemy that dares oppose you.
As popular as the Warrior is, it does have a reputation of being difficult to play as. This is the attraction for players who are looking for a challenge, as it presents a grind to level up and lacks both healing and mobility. That said, if you’re willing to spend some WoW Classic gold, then you can get specific gear that will make you a force to be reckoned with.
It might not seem that exciting on the surface, but as you progress through the game you will find that the Warrior is a fantastic tank to use in dungeons, and is great for DPS output.
The Mage has been the most popular class in Classic WoW at a number of stages in the game’s life cycle. It offers a wide range of ranged attacks, as well as being able to take control of foes and even summon food and drink when necessary. Overall, it’s an easy class for you to level up, and to play in general. You can attack from safe distances as well and can be useful for farming WoW Classic gold too. So, you can see why so many players would opt for the Mage.
All of these choices work well if you are looking for a fun class to play as in Classic WoW. As mentioned, what works best for you depends on how you like to approach the game. These classes aren’t in a particular order. They are just a select few that have a lot to offer when you are playing the game. Hopefully, there should be a class to help you cover all the bases, no matter what it is you want to do in World of Warcraft Classic.
